We recently launched the Zannel Open API. This REST based webservices API allows programmatic access to the Zannel platform. Developers can build applications, widgets, web and mobile apps that interact with Zannel in new and interesting ways. The API allows applications to create text, picture and video updates, browse featured content and users, and manage user preferences, friends and subscriptions in multiple formats, including xml, json, and rss.

In addition to the API, we also recently added Flickr and Twitter content export feeds to our platform. Zannel's content export feeds allow users to create media updates on Zannel, and have them automatically publish to their favorite online sites, including Facebook, MySpace, Flickr, Twitter, and Blogger. These feeds also work seamlessly with the Zannel Open API.

We are very excited about this product release, and thought that your readers might also find it interesting and useful. You can find all the documentation about it at http://www.zannel.com/developers. If you have any questions, or would like to learn more, please contact Jeanne Burgman (jeanne@zannel.com), Director of Marketing for Zannel.

Best,
Monique Maestas
